Horses at Grandma Ruth's

I made an attempt to take everyone to the park today to take our family picture. Let's just say it was a total disaster. Sophie had somehow forgotten how to smile, Bella was just mad about everything, and Frankie pretty much cried the whole time. We are definitely going to try again next week. This is about how happy Bella was to have her picture taken today. Better luck next time, I guess.

She loves this bottle of Desitin (no, I don't let her keep it once she gets her hands on it). I keep hiding it, and she keeps finding it. Bad hair day too :)

So Frankie has been sick with a cold forever. She had this cold for the longest time but got better last week and was doing good. All of a sudden Monday night she started coughing so bad and hasn't stopped since. She does fine all day but when bed time comes around she just coughs so bad that she gags. So, that being said she hasn't slept very well either which makes for a very cranky baby and an equally as cranky mommy! So I was at the doctor yesterday and as you know they sort of frown upon giving children under the age of 1 anything to remedy their symptoms from a cold. As I was leaving I asked the nurse if there was anything more I could do to help her sleep and she told me about this weird idea. She said at bed time rub Vick's Vapor Rub on the bottoms of her feet and put socks on afterwards. So I did it and I put her to bed thinking that there was no way that it would work. Let me just tell you that this child did not cough all night long! It totally worked! I have heard of this a few times but just rolled my eyes because I thought there was no way this was possible. She is rested today, but still pretty cranky so it should be a long day!

A new blog

So I have started a blog strictly for my photos. I have called it Bella Rose Photography. If anyone has any creative ideas as to how I can incorporate Frankie's name into my title let me know. The blog picture will soon change as I just wanted to start somewhere. Here is the link:
