Today Bella turned 7 years old. Hard to believe that the time has gone by so fast! She had a water party with a bunch of her friends. They played on the water slide, jumped on the trampoline and also played a few water games that I had planned for them. She also picked out her own decorations. It was a lot of fun. Greg and I are absolutely pooped and these girls are still going strong! I only wish I had half the energy that they have.
Bella and Sophie have shared a room for as long as I can remember. Lately she has been complaining that "there is too much stuff" in their room and she would love it if she could have a space of her own. We decided for her birthday that we would make her wish come true. Her favorite color is orange so there are a ton of orange accents in her room, and the walls were already a fun shade of green so we had a good mix of her other favorite bright colors to work with. We got her a new day bed from Ikea (thanks Grandma Paula and Aunt Tina), I got her new bedding and sheets from the Company Store Kids, and Grandma Judy bought all of the cute pillows. She has also always wanted a canopy for her bed so she got one of those too. A new lamp by her bed so she can read at night and some cute picture frames of the family made it all come together and it is so cute. These are pictures that I took when she saw her room for the first time. Now I just have to get something to cover the box spring under her mattress, when looking at the pictures for the first time I noticed what an eye sore it is....oops!
Two cute girls!
Yeah! Frankie has finally started to warm up to her Grandma Judy...love the bib too!
Stylin' Dad!
"The hot tub." The kids all called this the hot tub since the water was nice and warm from sitting in the sun all day.
Cute babies! The first baby belongs to my wonderful friend Alexis. Her name is Mason and she is adorable! The next baby is Xcenyia, she belongs to my friend Niki, whom I have know for almost 19 years. These cute girls are only 2 days apart in age and were so cute when they first met each other. Xcenyia was giving Mason kisses and I took pics but they turned out super blurry....darn! Thanks for coming guys!
Bella decided to jump in the big bucket and everyone was dumping water over her head.
This is Ali and Natalie. These girls were on Bella's soccer team this year and they have all been friends since. One day we will see Ali playing soccer professionally, she is super good! They actually held still long enough for me to take their picture. The are both such great kids!
My good friend Andrea and her gorgeous daughter Ella. I love these guys!
Here is Niki with X. Aren't they gorgeous!!!
I think these kids all had a great time, I know I did! Thanks to everyone for everything, we are so glad you all could be here and missed those of you who couldn't.
Oh my gosh she is so cute!
Bella and Greg being silly.
Bella's reaction to the news that her green balloon drifted away.
