More 4th stuff

Pretty relaxed this year on the 4th. I ended up taking the girls to the Layton Park where they got Icee treats, cotton candy and face paintings. They also played on the way over priced bouncy house rides for a few minutes, but even they were ready to go after about a half hour of being there. From there we cruised over to my parents house. My dad is the cutest ever and went and bought them a slip n' slide so they could play outside and stay cool. They just had so. much. fun! Any slip n' slide I have ever had has totally been a dud. The water never sprays the slide and when the kids go to run and slide they end up getting some sort of a rubber burn. It's not good. This one sprayed right down the middle and always stayed wet so there were no injuries. It was perfect! Frankie was so cute too. She would run as fast as she could and slip and fall on her back almost every time, never really cried about it though. I guess that is why they call it a slip n' slide. We finished off with a private fireworks show at the Country Club. All in all it was a great day! Hope yours was too :) Lots of pics, these girls just kill me with their cuteness!

We have home movies of my family visiting Greg's family in Texas. My dad cut up these HUGE pieces of watermelon and all the kids are squatting in the yard eating them. It is really cute, we should get copies made.
