I'm tired!

I had an extremely successful yard sale this weekend! At first I was met with all the usual hagglers, the early birds of course, but after awhile people were very interested in my stuff and we had large crowds at times. After the sale was over I got a call from a woman in Farmington who said she missed the sale but is opening an upscale consignment boutique and wants to look at my kid's clothing. She was over within a few minutes of us talking on the phone and looked through each and every piece of clothing that we had. She ended up leaving here with $255 worth of kid's clothing, pretty awesome! I thought I would put all this work into having this sale and not make much money, but after the day was over I made almost $700!

Frankie...Frankie has still been sleeping right next to me and I love it to pieces but now that she is very mobile it is a total safety issue. I started the Ferber Method yesterday and she took 2 naps after crying for a few minutes. Then at night when I put her down she only cried for maybe a minute and fell fast asleep. That lasted until about 3 a.m. and she woke up fussing so I rocked her back to sleep and put her back into the crib. She woke up again, I rocked her to sleep and put her back in the crib, she woke up, etc...I think we did this for almost 2 hours. I did let her try to cry to sleep but it didn't work so well this time. So, to make a long story short, I am so tired still from the big weekend that at around 5:15 a.m. I snuggled her in my arms on the recliner till I had to wake up again at 6:00. I guess I shouldn't try this whole Ferber thing till I am rested and ready to completely follow through. Lots of coffee this morning, lots.....
