Our Sunday Walk

We usually go on a morning walk on Sunday after breakfast. I took some pictures along the way today.

More trees...these yellow trees around here make me happy!

This is the "freaky house" as my girls call it. Every year these people add more and more to their halloween decor. What you don't hear are they screams and spooky sounds they have playing when you get close to their door. The girls wanted me to get some pictures so Grandma Paula could see them.

I don't think I would have ever noticed this if Sophie didn't yell, "Look Mom, it's a dead guy in a tree!"






You can see the colors in the mountains. It is so beautiful!

I had to take this just because it is my favorite shade of pink :)

You can't see them very well, but Sophie prefers to wear heels when going on a three mile walk. She is all about fashion these days :)

I actually didn't have to tell them to hold hands this time. Kind of nice!

Stopping to smell....the dandelions? At least she sees beauty in all things :) I think when we got home she had weeds, acorns, rocks, leaves, and who knows what else in that little purse of hers.

A walk wouldn't be complete without stopping to say hello to the horses at the farm across the street from our house.
